BBQ & Bar in Nashville

Updated: Aug 22, 2019

My Friends and I visited Nashville in early August. We enjoyed the numerous bars and BBQ restaurants Nashville had to offer.

Edley's BBQ was by far my favorite BBQ joint we ate at. When we first walked in the aroma of BBQ sauce wrapped around our noses. The southern style BBQ restaurant was unique with an chalkboard menu, order at the counter, and decorated with string lights among Nashville sports team flags. I ordered 2 brisket tacos with the sides of mac and cheese and coleslaw. Our food came out in less than 15 minutes. Before we knew it we were pouring the variety of BBQ sauces that were placed on the table all over our food. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for the BEST southern style BBQ.

On Broadway everywhere you looked there was a bar with live music. My favorite bar downtown was Honky Tonk's Kid Rock. This bar had four floors and a roof top bar. The roof top bar was the best view Nashville had to offer. From the roof top bar at night, you could see the skyline of Nashville from any spot. I would highly recommend checking it out at night. Rule of thumb for bars in Nashville would be visit any bar that looks appealing, feel the vibe if you like it grab a drink and then move on to the next bar. There are so many bars Nashville has to offer with a variety of themes got to make sure you check it all out! P.S. if you are a Green Bay Packer's fan, make sure to check out Benchmark on the second floor. This bar is decorated is decked out in Packer gear.
